Pros
Ombud has exceeded my expectations. With only a small group of people, Ombud has built an incredible company and SaaS solution for intelligent sales operations. I'm happy to be working at Ombud for a few reasons.
- The culture is great, everyone is happy, and everyone is genuinely excited to work together and even spend time together outside of work.
- We have big objectives for 2020 that are really going to push Ombud even farther. People are amped and excited to take on the challenges.
- While we are actively hiring for many roles, we take our time to recruit talented, diverse people that will add to our culture, provide different perspectives, and bring in experiences to help grow our organization.
- With a small organization, focus on professional development, and constant desire to learn and grow, there is plenty of opportunity to learn new skills and grow into different roles. We even have a book club, with good participation, that typically sparks thoughtful conversations about what we can do personally and professionally.
- Ombud encourages feedback throughout the organization and actively solicits ideas. It is clear Ombud cares about their employees and wants to ensure we learn and grow together, all while delivering value to our customers.
Cons
It is hard to compete for top talent against more well-known companies. However, I think we are doing a great job recently about getting our name out there and highlighting what makes us unique and a great place to work at.
