Pros

Helping students is great thing!

Cons

I was treated rudely by the manager; she truncated the training immediately when I said I worked for other outlets online. The interview manager had said that working for other outlets was Ok; then the rude manager cancelled my application at that moment. The manager is reflective of what happens when business people who do not know how education works start to try to manage teachers. The working conditions for the teachers are the learning conditions for the students and if the manager thinks that treating people rudely and brusquely is appropriate then the teacher will pass that on to the students. Having manners and being polite counts; the manager needs to learn some manners.

Dear OiKID Former Tutor, We appreciate your honest review. OiKID is working to sustain professionalism and integrity within our company and in the service to our tutors and clients. I am apologetic to hear of your experience with our previous manager and have taken action to prevent further misunderstanding and mistreatment towards our tutors. We agree the working conditions for our employees and tutors will affect the service we provide to our clients. OiKID aims to connect and maintain positive relationships with professionals like you, whom understand the heart of education. If given the opportunity, I hope to reconnect you with our company. I'd like to clear up any misunderstanding in regards to working for other outlets. I'd also like to hear your suggestions on how to connect with and help students!
