As a Mass Communication student specializing in public relations, advertising, and marketing, my internship at Octoplus Marketing has been a very rewarding experience. The team really took time to teach me and guide me, which helped me improve both my soft and technical skills. I’ve learned so much that I can already see how it connects directly with what I’m studying in school. This hands-on experience has given me confidence, and I know it will shape my career path going forward. I genuinely enjoyed the culture of support and teamwork, and I would even love to come back after my studies to keep growing here.

At the beginning, it was a little difficult to adapt to the work environment since it was my first experience in a marketing agency setting. Adjusting to the pace and expectations took some time, but with guidance from the team, I was able to settle in and feel more comfortable.

I joined in 2021 and within a few years, I became a Business Head. The structure is impressive for a marketing agency. Quarterly appraisals and reviews, so performance is rewarded fairly. Exposure to top clients, gave me solid experience in practical strategy development. There are also strong perks.

Policies and processes are all in place, which is good for structure, but some may find it stifling compared to rather unstructured agencies.
