Pros
None really. Training is superficial, focus on quick but not quality, nothing you cannot read in a good sales book.
Cons
The company's proposition is a scam, namely people in 'sales' are trained superficially to attract the attention of consumers at Costco, BJs, etc. in order to entice them to convert their existing cable TV to DirectTV (mostly from Comcast). In essence, sales reps become 'animated posters'. I spent on my first field day 5 hours at Costco trying to attract people's attention which was the most unproductive time in my professional life. To make it worse, there is no proactive marketing campaign leading potential clients to the reps at the store and those reps have no props or promotional posters nearby leading potential clients to at least understand what is being offered. A total sham.
