Pros

When it comes to a company that lacks any positive aspects or merits, it can be challenging to find any pros to highlight. And OYO Malaysia is one of them.

Cons

As a former employee of OYO Malaysia, I feel compelled to share my disheartening experience working for this company. My time at OYO Malaysia was nothing short of a nightmare, and I strongly advise others to think twice before considering employment with this organization. First and foremost, the management at OYO Malaysia is utterly incompetent. The lack of clear direction and leadership was apparent from day one. Important decisions were often delayed or made haphazardly, causing unnecessary chaos and confusion among the employees. There was a complete disregard for employee well-being, as long hours and unrealistic expectations were the norm, leading to high levels of stress and burnout. Furthermore, OYO Malaysia's work culture is toxic and demoralizing. There was a severe lack of respect and appreciation for employees' hard work and dedication. The constant micromanagement and unrealistic targets created an environment of fear and distrust. The company showed a blatant disregard for work-life balance, often demanding employees to sacrifice personal time and weekends without any consideration. Another major issue I encountered was the lack of proper training and support. Employees were expected to perform tasks without sufficient guidance or resources. This not only hindered our ability to excel in our roles but also caused unnecessary stress and frustration. There was a clear absence of professional development opportunities, leaving employees feeling stagnant and undervalued. Additionally, OYO Malaysia displayed a concerning lack of integrity in its business practices. There were instances where promises made to customers were not fulfilled, leading to dissatisfied guests and tarnishing the company's reputation. Such practices not only affected customer satisfaction but also put employees in uncomfortable positions, having to deal with irate customers and bear the brunt of the company's shortcomings. In conclusion, my time at OYO Malaysia was marked by unprofessionalism, poor management, a toxic work culture, and a lack of integrity. I strongly advise job seekers to steer clear of this company, as it is an environment that fosters frustration, stress, and a lack of respect for its employees.

Work-life balance can be challenging at times due to tight deadlines, rapid changes in priorities, and the need to adapt quickly in a high-pressure startup-like environment.
