Fast paced, lots of things to work on

Not good for people, who only want like a 9-5.

Good pay, options, severance, people who are trying to help.

What a mess. How dare you call it a family. You hire talented people just to let your secrets and ego get in the way of running a start up with enough transparency to scale the business and solve problems. You hire people and stop supporting or silence them. As far as support goes in the sales organization, marketing decisions are a fiasco and marketing hardly exists; Inbound leads are distributed according to nepotism and favoritism, AEs don’t get BDR support and quotas keep going up; products are sold too early with no live customers backing them or use case stories to have credibility. Leadership says it’s fine if deals slip only to then run shadow lay offs. Don’t tell the state it’s a termination, when there’s severance, that’s called a lay off and gets in the way of collecting unemployment benefits. Absolutely maddening and sickening how this org is run. What a waste of a cool vision. And take some ownership before letting people go, starting with your sales leader. PIPs after a deal is closed? No PIP at all? Yea.. good luck getting people to trust you.
