Pros
It is relatively easy to learn all the dos and don'ts, but the conditions vary largely on the manager and the rules imposed by them depending on the location of work. For an individual with good manners and communication skills, it is a decent entry-level job, but one that should not be kept for any longer than a year.
Cons
In my work time at the OMV, I had to almost always constantly work in a multitasking environment where several unexpected issues could arise even in a single day. Regardless of the situation, I always had to solve those issues, so that customers would feel looked after and the business could continue to thrive. Another con would be the fact that my manager did not allow me to sit down during a 10-hour, sometimes 12-hour working day, which was exhausting. This should not be allowed in any workplace, regardless of the company or job position.
