Pros
- Using industry standard animation software which has lots of useful features to ease workflow. - Working from home (WFH) can be a good thing if you live with your family as it saves you a lot of money on transport and food. - Get to work on various anime titles which is useful for your portfolio. - Improves your drawing skills significantly - More suitable for interns rather than full-time applicants - Get to learn a little bit of Japanese terms
Cons
- Poor work-life balance - Must be very good at adapting to the Japanese Animation workflow within 2 months. - Very luck-based task; Easy ones have little detail, while difficult ones have complex details and requires proper planning - Every day is a deadline. Good luck finishing it within 9 hours. - For what it's worth, the salary is not enough for the amount of effort needed to finish tasks in each month. - Higher-ups have high expectations on your performance, especially if you're still within probation period. - Making connections with people there is non-existent since it's WFH (idk maybe just me)
