Pros

I am a US based employee and was hesitant to join based on the reviews I had read on glassdoor prior to accepting the job at OKX. However, after speaking with the recruiting team and members of my potential team, I did join and I am so happy I did. OKX compensates competitively, has great processes in place for promotion and market salary matches, and has senior leaders who care about the success of the company and its employees. I personally love how dedicated senior management is about Compliance, which is usually the department lowest on a business' priority list unless a new fine has just hit. Since I have joined, I have been relied on as an SME in my space to do my job and make decisions which is a breath of fresh air previously coming from a large investment bank with a lot of bureaucratic processes. If you are thinking of taking the leap, do it.

Cons

Not really a con, but OKX hires competitively, so if you don't want to do the work or get things done, look elsewhere.

Pros

- Complimentary food and drinks in the office - Some co-workers are working hard and friendly - Hybrid work that can work 2 days from home

Cons

- The company experienced hiring followed by layoffs, which raised concerns about workforce planning. - No severance package, career transition assistance, or visa support was provided following the layoff, which negatively impacted the perception of the company's employee culture. - There was a tendency to assign blame rather than focus on collaborative problem-solving.
