Pros

Employee discount Stock shares Great place to meet local mechanics

Cons

Where do I start? A little under $10 an hour to have to deal with angry customers who think it's your fault that these REMANUFACTURED parts go bad. If you wanted a reliable part, BUY THE NEW ONE YOU JACKWAGON. So many people that come into the store are cheap and always hit you with the "so do I get that 'returning customer' discount TEEHEEHEE". The constant ringing of the phones caused so much frustration, and corporate requires you to answer within the first 3 rings. It's so embarrassing to be helping a customer and then have to interrupt them, and tell them to wait while you answer the phone and listen to some story about how "my cousin just bought a Cavalier...uhhh do ya'll have an aftermarket chip to make it go faster and I also wanted to price some camo floormats for muh' LIFTED EFF TWO FIFTY". The job is a joke unless you're in high school. I only took the job because I was transitioning from military to civilian and used it as a segway until I got a real job. This is a job for young adults that know how to use a parts catalog on a computer interface.

Pros

Great company. Great management. Flexible schedule. Competitive pay. Great advancement opportunities as long as you work it. Friendly customers and great coworkers.

Cons

Interviews and getting hired on usually take a while because it goes through so many people up the line. Most companies the store manager can hire and/or fire someone but this company it all goes through several people

Pros

-Always busy -Easy to make sales and extra money off commission and spiffs -Good starter job but need some automotive experience -up date and easy to understand operation system

Cons

-Store managers most of the time are really bad and not fit for their position. -Moving up is not that easy unless you’re liked by upper management -if you’re good at your job you get exploited since your the only dependable person -Overtime (could be good if you’re into grinding but not if you have a family)
