An organization is foremost its people and their culture. Nuvo has had some of the best of both . Much of this staff was handpicked and recruited as much for their ability and experience as their cultural fit. Speaking of... the culture has been one of a family of colleagues united in an effort to make an impact on the world through delivery of new disruptive hardware. The unique PolyStrata manufacturing platform, nearly 15 years in the making, provides an amazing RF capability that nothing else can rival for its integration and performance. Things that many people would have said were impossible have been delivered to customers. Space based earth science missions will advance and solve hard problems to help understand climate change -thanks to this staff. Next gen 5G communications will be designed and delivered to improve networks. There are always amazing new things in the works. Space based hardware is being built in Durham, NC - wow! :). Nuvo has always sought to find people passionate about what they do and put them in roles where they can grow and succeed. There are some incredible technologists and managers in this organization. Cons
There are a few recent glass door reviews that range from self-serving to simply disheartening. Former colleagues regularly draw attention to them. If you are interested in Nuvotronics, dismiss the rhetoric and focus on the content of what makes a great and lasting company. Incredible things have and will continue to happen here. Nuvotronics is only at the beginning of what this platform can be designed to deliver.
Pros
-9/80 schedule gives you great work/life balance -The technicians are extremely hard workers
Cons
Leadership is full of themselves, make promises that they won't keep. They promoted those who are buddy-buddy with. One person in particular would never show up which would cause a bottle neck. Instead for fixing the issue they decided to promote then instead. No diversity in leadership/ management positions, mainly all white people.
