Pros
Large, well established asset manager resulting from merger of nuveen and TIAA. Good investment professionals and good intent of TIAA parent to treat people fairly
Cons
Some egomaniacs & entrenched bureaucracy that makes accomplishing simple things next to impossible- worst in compliance, IT and other critical support functions. Also top management not always willing to fight for change or address the bad apples and inefficiencies-- youre basically discouraged from highlight problems or suggesting alternatives.
