A mixed bag - Anonymous employee Nuffield Foundation Employee Review

The organisation is getting bigger but many people are still overworked and lack support. Senior management consistently fail to understand what is really needed and instead keep increasing the headcount in unnecessary areas. Lack of cohesion across teams: staff are unaware of what their colleagues actually do. Suggestions or complaints often go unheard despite being asked for input. Open plan offices are either incredibly busy and noisy or almost deserted. Not a very diverse workplace considering the aims of the organisation. Lots of talk but little action on the DEI front. Senior management enforcing 3 days in the office. Little or no opportunity for career progression.
