Pros
It's easy to understand how some might see the continual evolution of a company that's still relatively young at just 15 years as "inconsistency," but those who want the same, consistent experience every day at work probably won't be happy here. Every day is filled with something different, and for some that can feel hectic, but that's pretty typical for a growing organization that prides itself on changing the way the game is played. At the end of the day, the people here are the most welcoming work family I've ever encountered. Is it all rainbows and unicorns? Of course not. Have you ever worked anywhere that was? Is it challenging? It always is when you're striving for #1. Will you feel valued for the hard work and energy you pour into this company? Absolutely. And if you don't, this is the first place I've EVER worked where you can literally sit down with one of the co-founders and discuss it. If the idea of airing things out (instead of repressing them and growing resentful, then blasting the company on an employer review site) makes you uncomfortable, then this probably isn't the place for you, either. But if you're looking to work somewhere where you can be authentically you without pretense, you might want to give Nu Look another look.
Cons
As a younger organization, the (non salary) benefits are still evolving and don't always compete well with those in the corporate world, but they did just improve them and I'm hopeful they'll take a good, long look at their "parental leave" policy.
