Pros
The job can is generally easy and you meet some nice people. The company seems to be growing quickly meaning growth potential is there for you as well. The company is put together very corporate like and there will be someone above to to ask questions to and get answers from.
Cons
The day to day can become stressful quickly, and boring and annoying to cashiers and you may cycle through them or lose them quickly. Some customers can and will drive you completely insane. If you are not properly staffed everything falls on to you. More than half of the managers in my area of 12 stores are understaffed and have trouble hiring. Those managers can be working upwards of 80 hours on a salary that won't change. I see it as a better first job into management over a good paying long term one. I have had 4 district managers in 5 years. All of the previous ones leaving the company. I have seen many managers come and go.
