It’s a job. They have a pension if you stay long enough. I like my coworkers.

Cons

Don’t care about the employees Don’t want to pay the employees Continuously changes things to keep putting more work on the nurses.

Student nurse extern

Pros

-some of the nurses on the floor were nice -gets your foot in the door with a hospital as a student -supportive management on the floor i was hired on

Cons

-low pay for what you put up with -was mainly working as a patient care tech as opposed to a nurse extern -nurses on the med/surg floors weren’t very nice and willing to help -don’t feel like i got enough training -the pre shift anxiety was horrendous
