Pros

Friendly Co-workers Hospital cafeteria employee discount Pension eligibility after five years

Cons

1. Poor leadership 2. No flexibility 3. No work life balance 4. Terrible commute 5. Holidays are deducted from PTO Inept and inexperienced leadership/management exists throughout the IT department. People are treated as if they are kindergarteners and micromanaged. Raises are below industry standards. There is constant turnover of people with no replacements. There is no working from home privileges. I was overworked, under-appreciated, and under compensated. It is a stressful work environment.

Cons

-low pay for what you put up with -was mainly working as a patient care tech as opposed to a nurse extern -nurses on the med/surg floors weren’t very nice and willing to help -don’t feel like i got enough training -the pre shift anxiety was horrendous
