Pros

The pay and benefits were tolerable. I enjoyed my co-workers.

Cons

The managent at this company is out of touch with how the employees feel and they simply don't care. They havery the largest turn over rate that I have seen in acute care. I have worked at many hospitals and this is the worst. I worked in a department that traditionally doesnt have a turn over, but because they were so mismanagemedon't and concerned only with profit, it was just ridiculous the turn over rate, due to the amount of work we had to do. The average stay for employees went from retiring to one year or less for employment.

Pros

-The best IMS Director in the Atlanta area. -Some of the best IMS physician and consultant colleagues. -Patient load is manageable, especially with the complex patient population. -Benefits are pretty good, especially the pension, but health insurance can be better. -Love the fact that we have PTO -We can grab food from cafeteria for free if we don’t like the food served at the physician lounge.

Cons

-Administration could be more responsive (but seems like that’s everywhere now days) -Wish the EMR was EPIC, Cerner PowerChart is ok -Most of the docs are on 5/5 schedule but bunch of us swapped shifts to make 7/7 work at the Atlanta / Sandy Spring location, like it was mentioned before the director is awesome and allowed the swap.

Pros

I have been privileged to work for Northside Hospital for the past five years, and my experience has been overwhelmingly positive. During my tenure, I have benefited from the organization's commitment to employee growth through its annual internal promotion policy, which has allowed me to advance within my current department. One of the aspects I value most is Northside's support for work-life balance and professional development. While working here, I was able to begin my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program from the ground up and am on track to graduate in December 2026. The flexibility and encouragement provided by the organization have played a significant role in helping me pursue my educational goals while continuing to contribute as an employee. I was a full-time employee for most of my career with the organization and recently transitioned to part-time status to accommodate the increased demands of my nursing program. The support and understanding shown by management throughout this process have reinforced my appreciation for the company's employee-centered culture. I am grateful for the opportunities, professional growth, and support I have received over the past five years.

Cons

None that I can think of right now
