Overworked and undervalued - Class A Truck Driver Northern Logistics Employee Review

Great family-like culture, friendly dispatch, well maintained equipment.

Pay is decent but isn’t the highest in the industry. There’s very few true “dedicated” runs, and pretty much everything (local day cab/OTR/Flatbed) is dispatched in a very (add loads as you go) manor, they usually try to run everybody as hard as they possibly can all the time and if you shut down for more than 10 hours you’ll probably throw their plan off.

I loved working here. The pay was great. The management was great. Dispatch was great. Never push loads on me. Awesome to deal with. Great corporate culture. Safety bonuses were awesome. If your a safe driver, you will like the pay here.

Sometimes president would yell during meetings. This then empowered employees to yell. A good way to destroy a great company culture they had. The good news is, this didn't happen much. I was yelled at once in the 2 years I worked there by one of the employees for his failure. Like childish screaming.
