Pros

One of the biggest pros is that you can get 100% tuition reimbursement on any degree that you earn at Northeastern while an employee. All I paid for during my master's program was books. There is also the ability to move around the university as an employee. I've been here for 7 years and have had two different jobs and I'm angling for my third.

Cons

Managers can vary. Some are amazing, some not so much. The pay isn't great for the lower level employees. Unless you're the president or a high level administrator, you're def not getting rich at this place.

Pros

Overall, I have had a very positive experience in this job. The work itself is well organized, meaningful, and provides many opportunities for me to learn, grow, and improve my professional skills. I truly appreciate the supportive and friendly work environment. My colleagues are kind, patient, and always willing to help when I have questions or face challenges. The communication within the team is smooth, and everyone works together with a strong sense of responsibility and cooperation. This job has helped me become more confident, responsible, and efficient in my daily work. I also feel grateful for the guidance and support I have received from my coworkers and supervisors. I enjoy being part of this team and appreciate the positive atmosphere, strong teamwork, and valuable learning opportunities. Overall, I believe this is a great workplace with excellent colleagues, and I am thankful for this experience.

Pros

People are excellent in my dept. Good collabs with other boston universities.

Cons

I was a student over covid. They charged activity fees for services we weren't using, and did not refund us. The administration refuses to accept Grad union terms, unlike most other boston area schools. The administration did indimidate and harass an lgbtq union rep.
