Pros
Work from home. Don't have to buy leads. Technically no cold calling.
Cons
Fronters forward minimally qualified leads to you as a final expense life insurance agent. Most leads are of lowest income, minimally educated people who are in poor health. Company trains you and requires you to use a very high pressure technique called Alpha Call Control to keep these poor people on the phone for at least 20 mins regardless of their need or financial means. Your ongoing lead quality and volume is dependent upon this factor. It is actually a bonus for them if they are in poor health but not literally dying as that increases the premiums. No matter if they are on welfare, disability, social security and already have $20K in life insurance, your job is to convince them they need much more and pressure them to give over their direct bank account info and close immediately. I was good at this for one month training and one month on my own until I couldn't live with myself anymore. Also, and of course because of the high pressure, there are huge charge-backs. If money is your only goal and you really don't care how you make it or who you get it from, you can make money here. Also, leads are reused and beaten to death. Nothing more embarrassing or futile than getting a lead on the phone that you just spent two hours talking to a couple weeks prior.
