Pay is really not great $16 an hour won’t get you anywhere in Banff but the benefits are good

Consistent hours Paid lunch Morning starts

NO overtime pay — OT hours are banked and paid at regular rate not 1.5 Bad culture — manager spends a lot of time complaining about my other employer No equipment safety standards No holiday pay — consistently had to ask why Christmas/new years/ family day were not posted on my cheque. Most foreign workers did not get holiday pay if they didn’t ask. Work life balance non-existent — nobody wants to work so you’ll consistently be called in on your days off.
