Pros

I started there in 2016 as a trainee over in Prague. I found that the training they deliver truly is outstanding and it serves you well not only in this job, but in future professions. Refusal to hire externally. This IS a good idea. Their trainees become team leaders, managers, directors etc. This is a great thing and should be done more often in other companies.

Cons

Where to begin...... I must say that all comments are completely my own opinion. Whilst I was there, we had a Questions/Answer session with one of the Directors. We submitted our questions anonymously beforehand. One question was why they ask us to do so much overtime and UNPAID. What really frustrated me was their complete avoidance of answering this question and they gave an answer any politician would be proud of. The Czech Labor Law states that it is illigal to work more than 5 consecutive days in the Czech Republic, yet they are "encouraging" us to work across weekends. If you didn't work on weekends like myself (I had no desire/push to do so) you were looked down upon as a "part-timer". It sucks the energy from you. After making hundreds of calls a week and working an additional couple of hours every night, you naturally want to relax on a weekend....not work more. Work-Life balance is key. I think, literally a handful of employees were married. It is not a Job for someone with a family. You have no balance at all. It is hectic environment but feels like a school. You have to have lunch between certain times and you feel bad even making a coffee out of the regulated breaks. The staff turnover is absolutely astonishing. From the group who started alongside myself, only 2 remain as far as I am aware. Unprofessional. In my opinion, NonStop is the most Unprofessional Professional company I have come across. You have to dress formally (suits) when there is no need to. Furthermore, the attitude and lifestyles of some of the employees are utterly disgraceful and I can say that they would certainly struggle in most other companies. Wages. They try to incentivize you to make sales by paying you a very low sum of money per month. It does not work in my opinion at all. The first few months in Prague, your salary is so low you honestly find it difficult to get by.

Firstly thanks for highlighting the quality of our training. We are obviously very proud of it and it has proven to support the growth of, and develop some exceptional industry professionals. This includes the leadership team of the business. Whilst we believe it is the best in the industry, we still continue to invest a huge amount in developing the training programme though we will hire externally occasionally to help provide more opportunities for growth to our internally developed staff (which is about 98% of our team). Whilst the positives in your review are great to hear, we feel it is also important to address what you refer to as the negatives. It’s important to do this on behalf of the industry, not just NonStop. This is an industry that offers exceptionally high rewarding careers, both professionally and financially. If you are looking for a ‘job’, then recruitment (and other highly rewarding careers) is not for you. It is a shame this was not made clear enough during our lengthy assessment process. While our core working hours are 9-6, Monday to Friday, some of our people choose to stay late or pop in at the weekends to reach some candidates or applicants that might not be able to talk during their own working hours. If you consider entry-level positions in other industries – law or investment banking, for example – in which people can go on to earn high rewards, recruitment provides much more work-life balance, as well as faster progression and higher financial rewards. The availability for our clients and candidates is why most of our people take lunch at certain times – so there is always someone to answer the phone should a client or candidate need us. Ultimately as a business we do not want people working late every night and working all weekends. It’s not conducive to a healthy body and mind. However if you are in your early stages of your career, working that bit harder is an exceptional investment in your professional career and long-term lifestyle. You won’t find NonStoppers who regret it, yet you will find thousands of candidates and clients who appreciate it. The average age of our recruitment consultants is 25, hence why many are not married. Some of these are earning well over €100,000 a year but you won’t often find them in the office late or at weekends. All our people dress to a professional standard because, quite frankly, this is a professional business – we have some of the most stunning office space available, and clients and candidates that visit us and we can’t see anything unprofessional about that, nor about what our people do outside of work because that is entirely their own business.

Thanks for the positive feedback. As the new CEO I am doing what I can to improve things but I am not sure what I can do about the local cafe 🤔

Pros

What I appreciate the most is the wide scope of action & responsibilities: - Candidate mapping & contacting, - Market Building (building a network and understanding the areas drivers) - Prospect identification until client on-boarding for Perm and Consulting, - Contract Tailoring Management, - Marketing (adverts, internet search tactics, LinkedIn, other, ...) - CRM building and tailoring (quality of the data, number of data & data management), - Management & Business Training, - Process automation (Emails, Excel, Internet, LinkedIn,...), - Coaching and Support for management especially, - ...

Cons

What goes with autonomy is perhaps less process driven so one can feel overwhelmed but if the energy and drive is there all can be done in time even in a this challenging Sales environment.
