Pros

Great Leadership, everyone is excited about the company's growth. The Leadership Loves the hustle. Co-workers are extremely helpful. You can make $70k a year if you can make 100+ calls a day for 6 months in a row. Really nice earning potential. Top tier work hard play hard culture, lots of music, food, beer, ESPN on the big screens

Cons

Saturated Market....Saturated Market....Saturated Market.... Old outdated over the phone sales call. It's all about making phone calls. nothing else really matters. You are often the middle man to a middle man on many of the deals you make, too many unknown variables will occur. Success is more about luck, consistency and tenure than innovation, skill or talent. Saturated industry Everyone is calling the same few companies for business. Daily pressure to hit numbers that are simply out of your control. only 1-2 Subject matter experts per office. Hours are 8-5 but most people work 7:50 to 6:40is pm its kind of a unspoken thing.

Pros

The people make work easier and enjoyable.

Cons

Logistics is constantly changing. This is not a company issue, but you have to be prepared to stay on your toes and adjust on the fly in this industry.

Pros

NTG was a place where I thought I would be long term. Working in the Dallas office, I genuinely felt like I had found a home. I enjoyed everyone I met and the friendships I made along the way. The memories I made with my hiring class are ones I’ll never forget. I sincerely hope our paths cross again. I’d also like to thank my managers for their exceptional leadership. I truly gained valuable skills that I’ll carry with me into my next role. The same goes for everyone I met in NTG’s Austin office during my visit.

Cons

As for the companies decision, I have a lot of thoughts. From my perspective, this came down to numbers on a spreadsheet. What wasn’t seen was the work that many of us put in behind the scenes during a very difficult market, often working stale accounts that had little chance of converting because of past relationships and mistakes. I strongly disagree with the decision. That said, I can honestly say I gave this job everything I had and more. I left it all on the field, and I’ll always be proud of that. Despite how things ended, I’m grateful for my experience at NTG, the people I met, and everything I learned along the way. I’m excited to see what I can accomplish in my next role and where this next chapter takes me.
