Pros

NinjaCat’s culture is extraordinary, and it’s not just because we have a ping-pong table and amazing snack bar. (Which we do!) It’s the people. My coworkers are encouraging and incredibly supportive. NinjaCat empowers its employees to foster an environment where personal growth, flexibility, and creative exploration is celebrated! A place where there’s REAL communication and it’s okay to make mistakes if you’re learning something. The work is challenging at times, but ALWAYS rewarding. Because of the company’s philosophy of total and complete transparency - traditional “Office politics” do not exist. There are no strategies that people play to gain an advantage, personally or for a cause they support. We are all equals at NinjaCat and because of this people are comfortable being themselves, are happy and really care. I can’t say enough about how awesome this place is to work. If you like software, personal growth, and people, then this might be the right place for you.

Cons

I only have one con. The majority of the company works remotely, and because my coworkers are so awesome - I wish I was able to see and work with them in person on a more regular basis. We use a lot of video chatting and other innovative tools to stay connected, but sometimes it's just nice to be able to speak with someone in person.

Pros

My team was incredible to work with—collaborative, driven, and just plain fun. The culture at NinjaCat is one of the best I’ve experienced, especially for a remote company. Paul (the CEO) built something special here. There was trust from leadership, no micromanagement, and I felt like I had room to grow and learn every single day.

Cons

The product can be a tough sell in certain markets

Pros

Amazing benefits, leadership that cares about your mental health, and great coworkers. There are definitely lots of difficult problems to solve here as an engineer.

Cons

The same thing you see at most start ups.
