Pros

- You work for a company everyone ever has heard of. I can't understate how cool this is. - The perks are great; I really feel respected and taken care of. - Some of the smartest and nicest people I've ever worked with. - Unbelievably transparent. We have public forums to ask the CEO and senior staff whatever we want around twice a month, and they really do answer honestly. - Company seems very ethical. lots of focus on core mission and giving back to the community.

Cons

- Things are a bit disorganized. My manager has like 30 other direct reports because the management structure just isn't fleshed out yet.

Pros

Truly one of the best companies I have worked for! There is a genuine care for our people, our culture and DEI. There has been a lot of change over the past few years, but our commitment to our mission, our people and our players has remained constant. We have a solid core leadership team and although the integration into Scopely has been a journey, who we are remains true and is showing up in everything we do. Honored to work here - best job of my professional career.

Cons

RTO and some recent changes in benefits through the Scopely acquisition

Pros

Niantic has a unique mission and works on products that blend technology, gaming, community, and real-world exploration. The people are generally smart, passionate, and collaborative, and there are opportunities to work on creative projects with global impact. The company also offers a good learning environment for those interested in gaming, AR, live operations, and location-based products.

Cons

Priorities can shift frequently, which sometimes makes it difficult for teams to stay focused or understand how their work connects to the broader company strategy. Communication from leadership could be clearer, especially during periods of change. Some processes feel reactive rather than proactive, and cross-functional alignment can vary depending on the team.
