Great benefits Salary rather than hourly Travel North America Pays well for the work Get to see places and get paid for it Work independently for the most part Minimal micromanagement Great time off when it's not busy Don't have to go to the office when not traveling and still get paid Extra support hourly play when not traveling and working office hours on the weekends
Cons
Not great for a personal life, but is doable On the road 16-25 days some months Schedule is erratic and different every month Weekends off are almost non existent during the busy months
