Just read the cons and you will be convinced to not work at Next Sparc or any of their portfolio businesses.
Cons
As a soulless private equity business, this company is more concerned about turning a fraction of a profit over investing and growing something over the long term. These people acquire companies with a "pump-and-dump" mentality. They will buy a good family-owned business, pump it up with some capital and talent to grow the revenues quickly, and will then proceed to sell it to a competitor while cutting off most of that newly joined talent in the process. I was part of such a pump-and-dump in one of their recent "successes" with Way Interglobal which was sold by NextSparc to Furrion. They promised me the stars when I was hired, but after I helped grow the revenues by leaps and bounds within very unfavorable conditions with no support, inventory, or budget I was laid off when they decided to sell. All of this took place in less than a year - and the experience was a complete waste of time on my part and set me back in my career. On the news however, these people talked about Way Interglobal being a huge success, failing to mention how they disrupted the lives of 70% of the staff. These money-grubbers are currently performing the same exercise in the rest of their portfolio companies.
