Pros
It was a multiple-year course on how not to run a business. The head of the parent company, now its CEO, was/is the professor. The years that I have been away from here are the happiest, most productive of my life, and I know now what not to do. I left after the CEO let go of all the remaining smart people, including the former leadership, salespeople, operations people, etc.
Cons
The now CEO cares about nothing but his "Crazy Ideas," which seem to arise daily. The business goes from one extreme to another, one idea to another, one unbroken promise to another. The only way to get ahead is to be one of the "chosen ones" close to the CEO. But it seems like they only remain "chosen ones" for so long, before getting fired - either for imagined wrongs or because they got tired of kissing up.
