Pros
Many talented designers, great team to work with and unique culture. If you land a gig here you'll grow fast and have a lot on your plate. Projects aremore diverse and better than previous jobs I've worked at. They do a LOT of work here. Good access to tools and resources, lots of hands-on modeling and and sketching, you won't find Cintiqs here. Bonuses are distributed often and the pay ladder is steep if you stay on.
Cons
Hours. Say goodbye to your social life. Project deadlines always seemed needlessly rushed and crazy. There's definitely some politicking to be done here if you want your creative work taken note of. Management often cites "focus" and "efficiency" as the cause for late nights -- but project needs change by the hour and end-of-day last-second meetings and reviews get in the way of a singular goal. Often times projects are simply over-worked. Communication could be better among all teams, and tempers can flare during disagreements. Everyone here needs to relax a little bit, it's design. Pay is on par with most firms (so yes, LOW) but the so called "40 hour week" listed in the employee handbook is really closer to 50-60 depending on the season. Sometimes this place gets too insulated and designery.
