Pros

40 hour volunteer time each year 5 weeks of vacation after 10+ years service Compensation is on par with industry average for Colorado Super experienced employees with a ton of new opportunity for new college grads. Easy to transfer around dept to dept too so there is some opportunity for growth.

Cons

First level managers are awful. We do a terrible job of recruiting internally and end up hiring candidates into people-manager roles that have absolutely no business being there (lack empathy, are passive/aggressive, or just don't like people!). Managements ability to make a decision is painful - takes a long time, and causes much churn. We have yet to release a web-based product as the programs continue to take too long, go over budget, or resources are needed for other revenue-raising products.

Pros

Amongst the top companies in the data storage industry = company stability.

Cons

If you'd ask me a year or 2 ago, I would have given the company 5 stars. But, as with most tech companies now, they've started to follow the trend of return to office, regardless of logic. There's little to no room for exceptions and the company would rather sacrifice productivity regardless if they know the hardships for people living in metros (one way commute to the NY or SJC office can take 2 hours one way!) - that and there's no commuter benefits. You have to pay out of pocket and live in fear of not receiving your bonus if you miss the "thrive together" quarterly requirements.
