Modernizing their CAD system over the next 2 years. Steady work load most of the time, every couple years Dept cuts because of slow sales. Nice mixture of personality in the Dept. Becoming more employees friendly (more flexible work hours).

Eng. and management don’t think of shop floor people as a resource for product improvements. Needs more employees’ training. Management and IT dept thinks’ they know how a dept will use new tools.
