Pros

Nice people, decent location, and good product that has market potential. Company culture is also decent and there are several that have been around for a long time.

Cons

This company lacks organization, communication, and focus. There doesn't seem to be a solid "team" feel which is a major disappointment. The facilities are cramped beyond sanity in the main building and having several buildings does not help. The separation is more of a distraction to the employees.

Pros

This company makes employee satisfaction a top priority. There are semi-annual employee surveys and suggestion boxes in every office. With the surveys, each department sits down to review what is working, what isn't and how can it be better. The employees come up with ideas to make things better, not the bosses. Then HR and the department heads actually implement the ideas that employees come up with. It's the most responsive employer I've ever worked for! And I get to work for a company that makes a goal out of improving the lives of men and families everywhere!

Cons

We are experiencing growing pains because we are growing so fast! It was a start-up when I began, but it is growing beyond very very quickly. We are in 5 different offices now. It makes it hard to maintain the "one company/one team" feel. Though the company does try to get everyone together as often as possible. We have monthly all-company meetings to review our progress as a company and recognize individual and group achievements. We have fun activities like pot-lucks, social events, baseball games, etc. They're doing the best they can with the situation being what it is.
