Pros

Co-Workers, Benefits, Safety, Location, Progressive and Forward Thinking, Innovative

Cons

Leadership - upper management and leadership are incompetent at best. Management and higher don't care about the front line employees and leadership is just unresponsive. You can't even go to the human resources with concerns because you can't reach anyone. The head of that department is best friends with the head of the site so there is no hope for any real change. Supervisors in Operations don't last, especially if they're on nights. Culture - depending on your shift the culture can positive and upbeat, or it can seem like you're micro-managed and constantly have a target on your back, there's no consistency. Communication - there really is none outside your team or department. No one works together across teams or departments, it is like they all live on their own little island. A lot of work sabotage and clicks. They have a reporting line that you can call but even then you don't see any response or change.

Pros

Simple to understand and complete work. Nice facility.

Cons

Management and other leadership lack oversight and presence on the production floor. There is a consistent lack of communication between shifts and there is little to no control over employee performance. People put into leadership positions have little to know real experience with people management and lack the understanding of positioning employees in the correct role/position to achieve production goals. There is a palpable air of rivalry, over-possessiveness, and entitlement. I ultimately decided to leave the company due to bullying from my direct “superior” and hostile behavior of a fellow employee that were upset that I was very good and my job and moving through the ranks quickly. To sum it up, there is far too much cattiness and professional jealousy directed towards individuals that perform well. The job is not rocket science. If you are looking for a truly professional environment and an environment in which you can grow professionally, I would not suggest or recommend this company. The highest level of management at this particular facility only has military experience but no real provable management or leadership experience. “Leadership” also likes to asset their dominance over others under their supervision, which is the exact opposite of how leadership works. Employees follow leaders that they respect, not fear.
