Pros

Fully remote work setup, which initially seems appealing.

Cons

Toxic Leadership: The startup is run by a husband-and-wife duo along with their close acquaintances, leading to a highly toxic work environment. They let go of the entire SDR team in a manner that lacked professionalism and respect. Unfair Practices: Despite being a top performer, I was terminated the day after I inquired about pay disparities and asked for a fair share, a situation that was handled poorly by the Head of GTM & Strategy generalist, who I found to be particularly ineffective. The team was dismantled one by one, leaving only one SDR who appears to have preferential treatment due to their close relationship with the founders. Questionable Product: The product itself seems flawed and lacks genuine value, succeeding only with clients who lack discernment or have excessive resources to waste. Misleading Prospects: If you are considering joining the sales team here, I would advise you to think twice. The environment is not conducive to professional growth or personal well-being, even if you're a high performer, resilient and strong-hearted person in general. Overall, my experience was extremely negative, and I strongly recommend exploring other opportunities rather than subjecting yourself to this disorganized and harmful startup. Also, all the good reviews that you see here are written by the stakeholders themselves, or by their favorite long-kept employees who'd do exactly they say. Take a call yourself, don't be tempted to see a founder from IIT etc.

Pros

- Small and growing start up that has found product market fit, despite a highly competitive environment. - Autonomy with Accountability. You have a lot of flexibility in how you run your individual business as long as it's yielding success. The ability to own your destiny is real. - As a small company, leadership is open to your ideas. The ability to influence is strong. While every idea may not be implemented, leadership is open to hearing your ideas. In fact, they are welcomed. - Founders care and are empathetic to personal situations. - Truly a great opportunity to get into a company early and make an impact. - Everyone sells / Everyone Delivers. There is no "not my job" mentality here. We are all building this company together and sometimes that means doing things outside of your job description.

Cons

- Until we raise our next funding round, resources are tight. Many things we would like to invest in, but also need to be fiscally responsible for the short term. Thankfully, we are close to raising our next round and some short term sacrifices will open up to invest in areas needed. - We are a completely remote company with coworkers distributed around the world. This is not a 9-5 job. Sometimes there will be calls in the evening, early morning, etc. As long as you set expectations on blocks of time you are not available for things like time with family, taking kids to school, etc. it's not a problem. However, don't expect to shut it down at 6pm and not have to think about work until the next day. At least 1-2X a week you may need to take a few calls before calling it a night. - We are the little guy/girl right now in the Sales Tech space. There is a lot of work to get people to lean in give us a look. Not a lot of inbound lead flow so you have to be willing to hunt.
