Bad expience - Artist Neezo Renders Employee Review

Friendly people to work with, learned a great deal of skills during my time.

Poor compensation way below industry standards. Company makes a lot of empty promises. cheap on investing in talent and resources. Was always promised in the end they will take care of the employees after project was done which never happened. Management hardly shows up to work for straight 5 days out of the week, makes poor decisions and demostratea a lack of understanding of industry trends. Spent a good portion of my time at the job in the presence of a abusive relationship, this made for a stressful and resentful environment. Childish behavior among the them with temper tantrums thrown and pure lack of respect towards team members, and abuse of company time by sleeping under the desk during work hours. Management showed a pure lack of understanding and skills towards the position which directly effected the final product. All in all not enjoyable place to work the company has no sense of direction and a pure lack of understanding of what's going on within the company and the employees.

Great people to work with, many artists from different backgrounds always willing to help you and teach you. Good work/life balance some crunch times but that happens always in our industry, however you are always notified that overtime it’s required. Task are assigned based on difficulty and experience, for some projects we have time to experiment with new lighting and/or shaders. Management will get new plugins, software and assets if you ask them. There is a huge render farm for renders and animations Games room with table tennis, xbox, ps, and 2 breaks per day so you can play. Half day fridays once every month with lunch, beer, cake and cookies and the rest of the afternoon to play games with everyone, company BBQ during summer.
