Egos everywhere at the exec level. CEO may dislike your work, but feedback is non-constructive. Disliking your work turns into disliking you (personally) which turns into letting you go. The nepotism and narcissism is real. Don't trust all the five-star reviews. Most five-stars are given by the "in" crowd (i.e. HR/philanthropy divisions). Survival Tip: Be a sycophant and play along with everything. Don't dare speak your mind or provide recommendations, especially to the exec team. You will be let go.
