      I love it, but the glitches… - Native English Teacher Native Camp Employee Review

      Pros

      I’ve been working for Native Camp for over 4 years. I truly love the work. The students are amazing and the materials provided for teachers are very useful and well made. This platform has given me the opportunity to share my knowledge as well as gain new knowledge with I think is most important.

      Cons

      The system glitches can sometimes be a true struggle, and sometimes it comes out very unfair towards teachers. If I have a full day of booked classes and the website glitches that day, I could potentially lose a whole day’s worth of money which is a lot of money and there is no way for me to be compensated for that. The pay has also been pretty much the same the last 4 years despite inflation happening all over the world.

      Pros

      Job opportunity for people who don't have a degree. They supply videos for you to familiarize yourself with the different lessons. Their communication has a quick turnaround.

      Cons

      Videos cannot actually prepare you for doing the actual lessons. Some sort of interactive system is needed to prepare teachers better for conducting the actual lessons. Communication method on the interface is a bit confusing - I cannot see which messages are unread-even when I toggle the icon to "unread messages"

      Pros

      1. Very flexible platform 2. No minimum hours required 3. mostly polite students 4. lesson material provided

      Cons

      1. The salary is pathetic and it is a shame they are still paying that same rate since they started. 2. They recently introduced a feature where you can adjust your rate but the requirements you should meet first are almost impossible to achieve. 3. very long waiting hours, too many teachers, very few students 4. a biased rating system that punishes teachers
