Pros

The team at Clementi polyclinic was generally more professional, and willing to guide new staff even though it’s way busier than other branch.

Cons

This 1-star review is specifically for my experience at the Tengah polyclinic, particularly with some of the lab staff. I've worked in different environments before and have never felt the need to leave a negative review. The environment felt unwelcoming and unprofessional. There were instances where comments were made behind my back, and super hostile interactions from the lab IC which created an uncomfortable working environment. I was often told that I could approach staff if I had questions, but when I sought clarification, I was frequently directed back to the SOP/WI rather than being given practical guidance and I found this frustrating and unhelpful. I also felt that feedback was sometimes given only after mistakes or issues arose, rather than during the learning process when guidance would have been most beneficial. This made it difficult to build confidence and perform tasks safely and effectively, not sure if they did it on purpose. Overall, I have only been to Clementi and Tengah but the culture and training standards appeared inconsistent across locations.

Pros

- It is within walking distance from the MRT station, and there are plenty of shops and dining options nearby. You can also easily walk over to NUS for more food and beverage choices. - Overall, the organization is well-run and has clear, structured systems in place.

Cons

NUHS Cons: Toxic colleagues control others; they turn people against those they dislike or who stand up to them. Management defers to these staff instead of acting fairly. Hard work goes unrecognized, while those who only talk get promoted easily. Immature, unhealthy environment.
