Pros

Just went through open enrollment and am thrilled by all the benefits National Life offers. They are adding great benefits to the medical plan, have not increased premium for the dental plan for so many years I can't remember, have enhanced the vision benefits that the company pays for, and they have paid leave policies that give me peace of mind if I ever need to use them. They are also adding new circuit equipment and new cardio equipment to the already cool fitness space. I can’t believe how National Life looks out for all the employees. Great company, great culture. And free lunches twice a week through the end of this year!

Cons

Wish my kids could also use the awesome Health Center. So glad my spouse can finally use it. A four day work week would be nice.

Pros

Good pay, nice people to work with but as a consultant I feel a bit on the "outside".

Cons

Every single person that is an Executive Vice President is a man with the only woman being the CEO's Executive Assistant. Clearly you can see there is a distinct "known" here at this company.

We recognize that diversity has historically been an issue in our industry. However, if you look at our corporate board, we're actively working to diversify and will continue to make sure we consider all aspects. We will always focus on adding the most qualified talent to all of our roles across the entire organization. If you would like to connect further regarding this, I would welcome the opportunity to talk. - Michael Veilleux, Chief People Officer
