Pros
Structured days, so you know what to expect before you arrive.
No one looking over your shoulder. You obviously need to work within company guidelines and all applicable laws but essentially you have autonomy over your day.
Traffic, awkward customers or vehicle reliability issues are part of the job but really bad days pretty rare overall.
Overtime is paid if your shift runs long and extra shifts are often available to those who want them.
Cons
Bad traffic happens.
The customer base is mostly fine but definitely includes chancers, blaggers and the outright rude.
The most popular 'day-time' rotas are full of long-term staff so new starters to end up working the more anti-social hours.
