Pros

-Free lunch up to $16.90 (flexible if the manager isn't a tight ****) -Fellow nandocas are very friendly in most locations -Customers are friendlier than most fast food restaurants

Cons

-Completely unrealistic standards, no one from head office has ever worked in a restaurant and it shows -It's a 'family restaurant' but in reality it's just a fast food chain with Portuguese music playing. "Officially" an 8.5 minute turnaround for orders, unofficially you'll be constantly lambasted by head office suits if you can't get it down under 4 minutes -Never enough staff, you're always expected to do the job of two people, always being quoted "staff shortages" as if half the fresh into uni crowd of kids died overnight -Pretty much minimum wage pay, managers barely make any more and have to put in more unpaid hours too which cancels out the extra pay -On some rough days you'll be stuck working until very late hours (midnight), doubly so if you're the manager on duty -Minimum paid+sick leave, very little staff retention -Most managers leave within 1-2 years since there's 0 future in Nando's, it's just a resume padding job
