Nachi's technology with materials and other related products are excellent. Application Enginneering service is spotty. Local talent Nachi brings in is good.
Cons
Japanese based management is overbearing, unable to harness local talent. Japanese employee saturation: too many non-English speaking Japanese associates in management and key positions, not understanding non-Japanese workplace needs locally resulting in workplace chaos, acute levels of politics resulting in majority of good talent Nachi brings in to fail. Lack of creativity in Nachi's changes to address Japanese saturation issues. Hiring away from a single competitor for talent and not able to develop, retain domestic talent or recruit creatively. Non-Japanese at Nachi have created a "boys club" politically environment where seeking approval an status among high level Japanese associates is primary activity rather than performing job duties.
