Pros

Some managers are good and work hard to meet the needs of the company and their employees. You can get a lot of good early career experience here if you have one of those managers. Great health benefits. Most of the employees are hard working, good people who enjoy a comfortable work environment.

Cons

There are very few advancement opportunities into management, most managers are brought in from law enforcement. If you have one of the bad managers you won't get any experience...except a lesson in office politics.

Pros

NW3C trains law enforcement, procedural, federal and international agencies on all things current in the white collar crime arena. Via live webinars, on-demand webinars, virtual classroom, and live in-person classes, NW3C has trained over 400,000 local, territorial, state and federal officers. Most trainings are free, so officers with tight budgets can still be educated on the latest trends in crime, the latest investigative techniques and tools they need to fight that crime, and how best to prosecute cases involving unique, hi-tech situations. NW3C is full of wonderful people to work with, and even though they're spread throughout the country, it is like a big family, pulling together and making good things happen.

Cons

NW3C a non-profit that is federally funded. This funding has been reduced and they were forced to lay-off 7 of us; last in, first out.
