Pros

I have been working for more than 7 years now. a. Good work life balance - depends on individual person as well. May not be true for some teams, b. Employees are heard if there are any issues c. Good pay. d. Good work. e. Allowed to change domains / work in other teams if interested. f. Even entry level people are given responsibilities and trusted. g. Intelligent people to work with. h. Good work is appreciated by management i. Free lunch j. Gear store :) j. Flexi time - management cares about work and not if you are in office at your desk. This may not be true for all the teams though. k. No micro management l. Free cab facilities to office. m. There may be more things which i may be forgetting

Cons

a. Some time work pressure may be high. b. There is no extra curricular / cultural activities organized - even if they are, they are pathetic. c. You may get frustrated with HR at times - they are not very responsive. d. Nvidia had been expanding and have cut down on a lot of things in the name of recession which never got introduced back. e. There is not much option for food in company. The only food court in the Manyata campus is more than a km from the office. So, you need to get your own food to survive from 9 to 6. Or do not follow the work timings :). f. There may be more things which i may be forgetting

Pros

Technical excellence and engineering rigor – Working alongside some of the smartest engineers in the industry. Code reviews, architecture discussions, and performance optimization were taken seriously. Cutting-edge technology – Unparalleled exposure to GPUs, CUDA, AI infrastructure, and low-level systems programming. Truly a place where you can work on problems that define the next decade of computing. Impact – Your work ships in products used by millions of gamers, researchers, and data centers worldwide. That visibility is rare and rewarding. Leadership in AI/ML – NVIDIA is not just riding the AI wave; it’s enabling it. Being at the center of that as an engineer was professionally transformative. Compensation – Competitive salary + RSUs that have appreciated significantly over time. The financial upside for long-term employees has been substantial.

Cons

Internal mobility – Moving between teams (e.g., from automotive to gaming) was harder than promised. Managers sometimes blocked transfers.
