Pros
- Some base-level employees are genuinely good people, but get taken advantage of.
Cons
- No training plan, even when one was requested. They have never trained anyone before - Coworkers that treat bar/hotel staff with contempt, at best. - A culture of gossip & talking about everyone else, rather than minding your own business & focusing on yourself, in fact, I'm sure they'll all have a good laugh together once they read this review, rather than learn anything from it - Awful management - Even worse people management - lots of misogyny & archaic viewpoints, the manager once said to me "It's a man's job" in a patronising tone when I was requesting further training, help & support from him & the team. - The business itself was in trouble due to component shortages - Away from home most weeks (this may be an advantage) - HR is based in Germany, meaning limited HR in the UK. - Sacked without warning after being called to their office, packed up & sent home on the train. Company phone, vehicle & laptop taken on the spot, no consideration for anything like contacts or backing up things/exporting contacts. - Used as a runaround, drove 1000+ miles some weeks, rather than being trained/learning - A culture of blame & every man for himself
