Pros
Working for a large company like NBCU and GE presents employees with a great opportunity to advance their careers both in terms of functional or vertical growth as well as more broadly across a portfolio that is incredibly diverse. In addition, the benefits package and pension/retirement programs are best in class.
Cons
Big corporations like NBCU and GE can sometimes be to too big for its own good - less process and more entreprenurial spirit can lead to better ideas and faster growth. And while change is good, we tend to have more change than is necessarily productive. Less disruption to businesses would be preferred.
