Pros

If you're retired or in highschool and want a delivery driver job where you don't really have to sweat about much, this is the job for you.

Cons

The HR in this company is horrendous. If you ever have any concerns, you can count on HR taking a month to get back to you (or not at all). The upper management could literally not care any less about the employees here. All the pay cuts have only effected those lower on the totem pole. Uniform program, taken away. Bonus vacation, after 7 years. Sick days, non-existent. Need to make a far commute, have fun getting paid little to nothing. Struggling to keep up with the business volume? Oh that's fine, we'll just take away all your help and give you even more things we expect you to have done. NAPA is a company nobody should ever want to work for long term. They make decisions based off of studies that are 5 years old. Their training comes from VHS tapes from the 80's and 90's (and are shown repeatedly rather than new material). And any kind of bonus? Here, have 30 bucks kid...if your store hits the outrageously high quota we set for it. Higher ups go ahead and hold onto their uniforms, company credit cars, company vehicles, and high salaries. Everyone else? Disposable. I should also mention this company has been on a "hiring freeze" for 2 years. Or at least that's what upper management will tell you every time you say you need to hire more help.

Pros

The hours are great compared to Autozone or O’reilly, the pay is much better compared to other auto parts retailers too. Anyone who complains about Napa Auot Parts doesn’t know what it’s like to work for their competitors. Unless you work for independent Napas I know their pay is different from corporate but I feel like this company actually cares about their employees and treats them fairly in regards to pay, and working here is much better and has a better work life balance compared to other retailers which is a plus. I can see myself making this a career and staying long term I love my job and what I do.

Cons

Tams sucks and catalog sucks, thats literally my only complaint about this company they need to upgrade the whole system and the way they do inventory and everything with regards to technology.

Pros

At the time of writing, I have worked for Napa for 9 years. I can say with a great deal of experience that the fellow employees will make your day. Easy people to work with all around. Something about the shared struggle of working for NAPA will really bring a group of folks together. Customers who come into a NAPA come for a reason. I find this to be a much different experience from other auto parts stores. Customers know what they are talking about, and that makes the job all the easier. Hours are consistent almost to a fault, but you will ceratily get at least your 40 hours.

Cons

When I first started with NAPA, they genuinely cared about their employees(gift cards on bday, anniversary lunch, anniversary gift, holiday bonuses, company-wide holiday parties). That is all gone. All management you will have personal contact with has ZERO authority to do ANYTHING. Do not expect a merit-based raise, or even a yearly raise(no raises in 2 years despite $2.3B in net profit for 2025). It seems to take an act of god to fire employees who literally do not do their job. DO NOT CLIMB THE LADDER. The higher you get in this company, the more you will regret it.
