Pros

There are a handful of knowledgeable individuals within the business, but this is not enough to offset the wider issues.

Cons

The main issue is a lack of alignment, professionalism and human decency. Communication is inconsistent and at times completely contradictory, with expectations and opportunities discussed and then quickly withdrawn, leaving you feeling misled. Decision-making appears reactive and poorly thought through, with little structure or clear direction, just depends how the CEO feels that particular day. There is very little support for new starters, and the overall culture can feel unwelcoming and disengaged. It does not feel like an environment where people are set up to succeed. I mean no one even showed me where to make a cup of tea when I started. The majority of people were totally unapproachable and unwelcoming. The handling of employee matters is particularly poor, lacking both professionalism and basic empathy, and there is little to no accountability when things go wrong. Overall, it feels like a business where internal communication is unclear, decisions are not properly considered, and employees are not treated with the level of respect or consistency you would expect. Everyone is scared of the CEO and honestly for good reason. He's unprofessional and speaks badly about staff to others, and is just generally very unapproachable. I have spoken to other past employees and we have all had similar experiences. We have left feeling traumatised. Proceed with caution.

Pros

There is free parking. There is a farmshop up the road.

Cons

Most people who work there are inexperienced. You will be constantly expected to work overtime and you will end up worrying about what they will do or say if you don't work the extra hours. You will be working 6 day work weeks every 2 weeks to be occasionally rewarded with a coffee. 30 minute breaks - they say it's an hour in total because sometimes you might want to make a hot drink, but in reality, most people who are on the phones do not have time to make a tea outside of their designated lunch time. You will be constantly mentally exhausted due to high stress of constantly busy environment and upper management never being consistent with their erratic decision making whilst being made to walk on eggshells when the CEO is in a bad mood. Little to no training. High turnover says it all.
