Pros

Some co-workers are great to work with

Cons

-The most toxic work environment created and cultivated by upper management -Job expectations are constantly changing without compensation or even written explanations -Inconsistent scheduling with zero flexibility, you are required to be available two Saturdays and two Sundays every month no matter what. If you are full time you’re expected to be available every weekend no matter what. Any time off you have to use your PTO -Took away tip Jars -Stripped away all creativity to push the “muse aesthetic” -All artwork displayed by artists is tucked far away in a corner with extremely limited space, it’s really a scam -Studio Management can’t complete the most simple of tasks, very unorganized -Do not expect breaks, classes are back to back (especially 90 minutes sessions) making it impossible to take a lunch break -Constant bullying and retaliation from upper management if you express any type of concern. They do everything they can to push you out like cut your hours, refuse to accommodate time off, etc -Upper management/CEO has been known to make fun, belittle, and degrade employees in group chats -Not inclusive or accepting of people with disabilities -High turnover rate -No chance at all for growth within the company unless you have no soul The list goes on and on unfortunately

Pros

The pay is great comparable to a lot of places. I enjoyed working with my coworkers. Very inclusive.

Cons

Corporate to store communication feels distant especially if a manager is not present.

Pros

It's fun interacting with your coworkers and the attendees. Usually an upbeat atmosphere. If you need to ask someone else to take your shift, usually there is someone eager to take it. Good pay rate, as long as you get the hours.

Cons

No guaranteed shifts, if you don't have enough sign-ups you are expected to "cut" yourself from a shift. So, you set aside time for working... when you might not actually get to work and make money. Feels more like a starter job than a life-long career (unless you are one of the two full-time employees). Unfortunately, in this job market, people who need careers can't get hired into them, and are stuck in limbo working 2 or 3 part-time jobs
